I’m often asked whether I’m worried about radiation in the seafood from Japan. To be honest, all foods have their risks nowadays – nothing is totally safe. While maintaining an adventurous spirit, it really is also about being better informed, and being practical and smart about it all.
Given the small amount of sushi the boys eat on a weekly basis and that we choose those restaurants we trust to source their seafood properly, the risk of radiation poisoning is really very low.
I would actually be more worried about my kids getting their daily intake of fruits and vegetables grown from China – likely on plots right next to chemical plants or factories!
