Recently, I went on a retreat with a group of ladies at my church. Before I left, I asked the boys whether there was anything they wanted me to particularly pray for.
Jayden: “Mommy, thank you so much! Can you please pray for the animals and the dinosaurs – especially the dinosaurs so they can come back to life?”
Me: “Darling, I’m not sure having the dinosaurs come back to life is a good idea, as the aggressive carnivores will eat us all!”
Jayden thought about it further. Probably not liking the idea of being eaten, he revised his prayer request: “Well, then pray for the dinosaurs that don’t eat meat to come back to life then……!!!”
Well, I guess I asked for it!
I’ll also have to pray for divine intervention that perhaps this dinosaur prayer will not be answered!
