Yesterday at a relaxing lunch by the Repulse Bay beach, Joshua asked me a random question:
“Mommy, have I been to Canada before?
“Canada dear? No, you haven’t been to Canada before.”
Then, Joshua started his sales pitch: “So, Mommy, you know, maybe we can give it a TRY and go to Canada sometime? I really want to give it a TRY!”
Ohhhh!! So he is taking our “You should give it a try” lesson, turning it around and using it on us!!
I replied with amusement: “Why do you want to go to Canada?”
“They have snow there, and I want to TRY to go and build a snowman there!
“How do you know there is snow in Canada?”
“Hummm, well I just know!! We can go there now and come back a few days later! It can be real fast!””
“Darling, how long do you think it takes to go to Canada?”
“Maybe 25 Canada long?”
Joshua has asked me on numerous occasions about seeing snow and building a snowman, but his excuses to go is getting more and more creative! Have to give it to him, he is TRYing very hard to convince us!
