It may be too young for a 2 year old to have an obsession compulsive disorder (OCD), but every time we walk past the metal gate from the carpark to the podium of our apartment block, Jayden must ensure the gate is closed, and then he has to be the one who reaches up with tippy toes and his tiny fingers to press the release button. As you can imagine with a 2 year old, this can take some time to do!
Even if someone has opened it just before him, he has to close it again, and release the gate all by himself.
Every single time.
Today, Daddy & Joshie walked ahead, past through the gate and were waiting for us in the lift lobby. Daddy gave me a quizzical expression that read “what took you so long?”.
I said, “Daddy, don’t you know your son has OCD with that gate?”
To which Jayden replied: “No, Mommy, don’t you know I have A-B-C-E-F-G!?!”
Humm….I keep forgetting, how can I get it so wrong! Hahaha
